One of the attractions in Forest Hill is its Civic and Convention Center. It is clean and well laid out. There is a decent amount of space, and the grounds are lovely with much space for parking.
As already mentioned, Forest Hill is a quiet area, and you can’t expect much of the nightlife. Anyway, Fort Worth is not far away, and in just a few miles you will have all the entertainment you want. You can go to Lil’ Red’s Longhorn Saloon to have a real Texas dance hall experience and listen to bands which play country music. There are also famous bars, such as Men’s Club or Club New Start. If you like dancing, go to dancing clubs 2001 or El Duranguense.
You can also have a tour on weekends and spend your free time outside. Take a tour on the Trinity River and enjoy boating, rafting, kayaking or fishing.
Lake Arlington is also very close and there you have Bowman Springs Park. This park is huge and safe, perfect for sports, fishing, jogging or just walking your dog. It is a great place to spend the weekend with your family.
